What was your first job?Working at my family’s almond and walnut orchard. I grew up learning the value of hard work, early mornings, dusty boots, and long harvest days.

What is your favorite quote or best advice you’ve received? “El que madruga, Dios lo ayuda.” (God helps those who wake up early.)

What is your favorite way to spend a day off? Something simple…breakfast with my family, a gym session to clear my head, then maybe a Target run and snuggling on the couch with my son watching a Disney movie.

What was your favorite subject in school? Math and Science of course!

What is your useless but impressive skill? I can tell if something is crooked on the wall without a level.

What is one thing you believed in as a kid, but makes you laugh now?I thought the Llorona was real and would snatch me if I didn’t go to sleep. So I’d hide under the covers like she couldn’t get me there.

What is your favorite game to play? Mexican Dominos.
